Setting aside the JRR Tolkien reference - what is House of Beor?

Thanks for stopping in to read about House of Beor. I started my career in chemistry and computers in 1990 - right at the start of the internet bubble. 20+ years later I decided to start a small private presence on the internet.

After all this time - why? To learn and find a place for free thinking with no boundaries. House of Beor is a project - to create an entity and to create all the things an entity requires to live. An example is this site and the coding behind it. It is also an effort to keep alive creativity in myself that I found draining away with the regular flow of the 9-to-5 world.

House of Beor is a closed company - we are not currently seeking clients or customers.

Through our blog, labs, and project pages, HOB provides practical thinking on directions in software development, computing, collaboration, and occasionally whatever else is top of mind.

Whether it is through my years of working in healthcare/pharma/medical devices, my interests in technology, or bits and bytes of my personal love of cars, gadgets, landscaping, and beer I hope you find something interesting and useful as you poke aorund in the house I'm building.
