House of Beor, LLC brings over three decades of experience in computer science research, technology architecture, and software design to every engagement. Founded in 2012 as a closed consulting firm, we served not-for-profit organizations throughout the Philadelphia region and advocated for critical open-source projects.
In 2016 we transitioned to an open company — widening our focus to commercial publishing while deepening our commitment to the communities and causes we've always served. We continue to offer pro bono support to nonprofits and open-source initiatives; it's not a feature, it's a founding principle.
Our research spans the full stack of modern computing: from low-power wireless and mobile development to cloud-native architectures, health IT, and next-generation web frameworks. What ties it together is a genuine love of the craft and an insistence on doing things right.
